The S2000 is a rear-wheel drive sports car made in 1999. It's fairly light thanks to its aluminum paneling and X-bone chassis; the power output isn't shabby either. The game features the version sold from 2004 (AP2) which's engine is a 2,157 cc naturally aspirated inline 4 (F22C1) producing 240 hp at 7,800 rpm and 221 Nm at 6,500-7,500 rpm. The front-mid engine placement allows the S2000 to achieve a 50:50 weight distribution.
Its remarkably direct steering and smooth power delivery makes it very suitable for drifting.
